Case overview

Having had a long-term relationship with Malcolms Barber Shop in Broadstairs, Dabble reached out to them with a vision for bringing their booking system to life in 2020.

 

Malcolms’ previously handled all bookings by phone, and in person using a paper-based calendar for each stylist within the shop, which unfortunately over time hasn’t aged very well. With that in mind, we came up with the concept for their new booking system, allowing customers to not only book an appointment online, but get text and e-mail notifications of their appointment and manage it all from an iPad within the shop.

 

The new booking system, installed in March 2020, aims to not only make it easier for customers to book their own services on the go (through a fantastic responsive website and booking system), but also provides the staff within the shop with tools that they’ve never had the luxury of having before, including the ability to manage their own schedule from their phones, as well as getting SMS notifications whenever a new appointment is made for them.
